All smoke and steam
Ex London Midland Scottish Railway Jinty no 47279 heads a loaded train
out of Keighley station on the Keighley and Worth Valley railway.
Hidden away in all the smoke is a second engine, BR Standard Tank
80002. The gradient out of the station is quite steep so the engines
generally get up a good head of steam, on this day there was a heavy
fog that was just lifting so adding to the effect. The crew are just
about to collect the single line token that would allow the train to go
onto the next station.
