Almost Finished

The signature building at the dock end of the Liverpool 1 development is One Park West, a mixed residential, business and leisure development. The builders are now putting to the finishing touches to it. An earlier view may be found here.

In front of One Park West is the new Chavasse Park, which replaces the original park that now has One Park West on it. Chavasse Park is named after Noel Chavasse a Liverpool lad who won the Victoria Cross for bravery in World War One.

Very futuristic building Les, no doubt over the years this will be photographed from all angles, many times over.
Les Auld: I think the building of it has been well photographed so far, thanks for the comment Brian.

This building looks weird - as if a strong gust of wind would blow it right over. Is it really this shape or is it a trick of the camera view? Nevertheless, it's a great photo, and very attention grabbing.
Les Auld: It does have a great shape to it Sheila with a curves and strange angles as well, thanks for the comment.
I'd like to see this "in the flesh" I'm not often a fan of modern buildings but this looks very interesting indeed!
Les Auld: It certainly catches the eye Bill, thanks for the comment.
Not much room on the top floor to swing a cat. Interesting though.
Les Auld: True, I wouldn't fancy the top floor flat, thanks for the comment Ian.
Excellent shot of, to my mind, a rather worrying building. Obviously nautical theme, but very awkward angles and chopped off bits- makes me feel uneasy!
Les Auld: A touch of sea sickness then David, thanks for the comment.
