photoblog image The Ark Royal in the sun

The Ark Royal in the sun

Taken after my visit when the sun had come out. The far gangway was for the guests and families of the crew whilst the central gangway was for the general public. According to the Liverpool Echo over 5000 people climbed this gangway during the six hours  the ship was open to the public.

She looks bigger from this view. That's a lot of people in 6 hours Les, but I bet it was worth it
Les Auld: Quite enjoyable Bill, but I would have liked to get onto the flight deck as well.
