photoblog image The Golfer

The Golfer

The Strawgullson the Fairways traffic island in Southport have finally migrated and in their place has appeared a golfer created by a local blacksmith. The local council os trying to promote the Sefton Coast as the Golf Coast because of the number of golf courses along it. The British Open Golf Championship is to be held at the Royal Birkdale Golfclub and the culpture is to celebrate this.

The low level on which this photo was taken makes it special. Nice one!!
Les Auld: Thanks Andre, I was down on my knees for this.

Nice silhouette. I love the background and sunset colors.
Les Auld: Thanks for stopping by Consuela, appreciate the comment.
It all works together Les to make a fabulous shot, I hope you put this into a competition at your Club, in my eyes it is a winner.
Les Auld: Somehow I don't think the judges would like this Brian, maybe next year though. Thanks for the comment.

The three clubs for one shot holds the attention. Maybe it means it is the no 3 club.

Excellent shadow picture allover.
Les Auld: Never though of it like that Louis, like the idea though. Thanks for the comment.
He seems to be using 3 golf clubs. Have the Royal and Ancient changed the rules? smile

This is an excellent silhouette Les
Les Auld: Especially for us in Southport Bill. It is actually three silhouettes welded together. Thanks for the comment.
