The Grab Shot

Walking around Martin Mere, I could hear a small bird singing high in the trees. Looked up, pointed the camera and took the picture, luckily everything was on automatic and as it was late afternoon on a grey day the ISO was set high. The result was the Inquisitive Robin.

Marvelous capture. I think he has a swollen head or skinny cheeks.
Les Auld: Thanks Mary, I did think he looked a little strange.

A beautiful shot, Les. What a great capture of the cheeky little guy! Lovely detail and colours.
Les Auld: Thanks Alan, pure luck really.
This has that sort of "cheeky chappy" type of feel les, how lucky to get this with a grab shot.
Les Auld: I did feel he was telling me something, thanks for the comment Brian.
Having a browse around to catch up...this is a gorgeous shot. We have a pair nesting in our garden and we love Robins.
Les Auld: Thanks Dave, glad you like it.
