photoblog image Guarding the Sewage Works

Guarding the Sewage Works

About 1000 yards east from yesterday's image, just in front of the local sewage works on the Leeds Liverpool canal is another pillbox.  A Type 24 pillbox formed as an irregular hexagon, five sides facing forwards and to the side, one facing the rear. This forms part of the Western Command Stop Line 14.

Excellent fatiguing, and interesting subject too.
Les Auld: Must admit to enjoy doing a bit of distressing, thanks for the comment.
