Back to my favourite location and my favourite time of day for my 300th post. The sunsets beyond one of Antony Gormley's iron men at Crosby near Liverpool.

Fabulous one for 300, Les. Someday I want to see the Gormleys.

Les Auld: Thanks for stopping by Shakara, appreciate the comment.
I've only ever seen these statues in pictures Les, it must be a bit creepy being near them. Good silhouette against the sunset though.
Les Auld: Thanks Brian, they are a bit eerie late at night.

I guess this is some HDR with the strong colours. Excellent and the composition too. Worthy of #300.
Les Auld: Thanks Louis, no HDR though just some work in Photoshop to bring out the best of the sunset.
Congratulations on the 300th Les, some great images and lots of education. Could not agree more about the location.
Les Auld: Thanks Alistair, appreciate the comment, hope you did not suffer too much in Brum.
