photoblog image I see no ships!

I see no ships!

Another from Sunday, this young lady wandered into the frame as I was lining up Riverdance and then struck the pose. I don't know what she was looking at but it certainly was not the ship.

The orange blobs on the side of Riverdance are some of the salvage crew walking on the hull, rather them than me.

Another good shot of the stricken ship. The foreground interest makes it, and it's interesting that the stripey pink girl is looking at something else entirely. I wonder what?
Les Auld: Thanks Ian, there was not a lot to see off tot he side so I couldn't guess at what she was looking.

She has that stance from the old holiday brochures.
This time she will be saying: 'Oh heck, there goes my cruise!' smile

Great composition again.
Les Auld: Thanks Louis, you could be right, like the comment.
Such an amusing photograph for what is a very sad event. I just love the stripey young lady looking in the wrong direction. Well spotted! (:o)
Les Auld: Thanks Rosalyn, glad you like it.

I think this boat has a problem ... Very nice composition with this girl who doesn't seem to worry for that, but looking at something else ...
Les Auld: You could be right Ann about the problem, thanks for the comment.

Les Auld: She certainly did Tim, it would be so much less without her, thanks for the comment.
Another good angle Les. Like the inclusion of the young girl.
Les Auld: Thanks Brian, down to the luck of the moment.
Oh well seen Les!
Les Auld: Thanks Bill, just luck I'm afraid.

Lovely shot Les. The little girl adds human interest and makes the image for me.
Ingrid
Les Auld: I agree Ingrid, she just makes the picture.
