And I thought it was the John Lennon International these days? Lovely glimpse of the old tower.
Les Auld: The new airport was renamed the John Lennon airport in 2002, although he never landed there. You can see the old airport though in the newsreels of the time with the Beatles returning to Liverpool.

It's fun to do these shots - taking pieces of the landscape to frame the photo. This one worked out nicely.
