photoblog image Purveyors of computers to the world

Purveyors of computers to the world

A modern temple to the electronic world, people and companies visit its vast open spces inside to gaze upon the wonders of the computer age, or at least see what they can't afford.

This was a nice view of PC World at sunset in Birmingham untill I decided to play about with it for a while and produce something old and grey. I used another of the free texture I found on Flickr, by NinianLif on this image.

This is a great anti-whatever you have created. A computer superstore from the 1920's smile

I have checked those freebies on flickr and have marked the site for a future visit. Just need the right picture. Thanks for sharing.

Very useful PC World. Check their price out then buy it cheaper online! I like these textures must have a look on Flickr
Les Auld: By all means Bill, thanks for the comment.
Great `old newsreel footage` atmosphere to this one. It really made me stop and think about how all our modern and amazing technology, will eventually become antiquated. (:o)
Les Auld: Thanks Rosalyn, I suspect eventually will come sooner rather than later.

Terrific treatment Les, it looks like an old movie poster.
Les Auld: Imaginative idea Aussie, maybe I can sell it to a studio.
