So those Tuk Tuks are dreaded? We have them all over Amsterdam and I think they're delightful. smile

This is so educational, Les. I love photos like this!
Les Auld: Glad you like it Ginnie, the Tuk Tuks in Bangkok seem to be everywhere with no regard to parking or road sense. I only traveled in an electric one though owned by the hotel.
Wonderful, colourful street scene. (:o)
Les Auld: There were many amazing sights Rosalyn, just waiting for a camera to pass by. thanks for the comment.

Great street shot indeed. I like these 'people at work' kind of pictures, especially if it depicts character type work.
Les Auld: Thanks Louis, I also think they give a greater sense of the real life of the country.

This is a funky mix of the traditional and the (relatively) modern.
Les Auld: A very true feeling, I was left with an odd sense of the old and the new there. Thanks for the comment.
I like this serie of street shots very much !!
Les Auld: Thanks Zeb, glad you like them.
I've always wanted to drive a Tuk Tuk... along with a Trabant. The worst thing I've ever driven so far was a Reliant 3 wheeler and I wonder just how much worse it can get. Great picture Les
Les Auld: Thanks Bill. I had two reliant vans as a step up from a motorcycle when we had a son, many years ago now. The first one I turned over on my first trip out and it took a year for me to rebuild the body almost from the ground up. Great days indeed.
What is that headgear he's wearing... and why?
Les Auld: I suspect it is an attempt to reduce the effcet of the car fumes, Sukhumvit road is very busy and the skytrain above the street tends to keep the car exhausts down at street level. Hence the need ofr a mask I supose.

Thanks for the comment Ian.

We could do with some of those here.
Les Auld: I can just imagine the fun and games the Heakth and Safety police would have with them, compulsory seat belts, windows, crash helmets, the lot. Thanks for the comment Ellie.
