Besides the ferry, Les, I like seeing these buildings up closer. Very, very nice.
Les Auld: Glad you like it Ginnie, they are great buildings, at least in my opinion that is.
Nicely done, it gives a great idea of the town ! Bravo !
Les Auld: Thanks Zeb, appreciate the comment.
Wonderful clear shot Les. Is that Gerry and his Pacemaker I see on deck ;o)
Les Auld: Can't keep them off the ferry, and they play the music everytime the ferry leaves the landing stage. Thanks for the comemnt Mike.
Very nice picture. I like the cold colour tones
Les Auld: Thanks Richard, it was quite a cold day on the river.
An iconic image Les. Pity the grand old ladies have to share the skyline with these unimaginative modern boxes (monstrosities).

You have gotten your teeth into HDR by the look of it, still feel it creates a rather lifeless image. Have you tried duplicating the image and Blend Multiply the layers, reducing the opacity of the top layer until it looks right?
Les Auld: Thanks Alistair, appreciate the comment. I know what you mean about HDR, To bring some life and depth I tend to eplicate the layer, add a gaussian blur of about 30, change the blend mode to soft light and then reduce the oapcity to suit, although I have also tried your method as well. I suppose there are many ways to skin the cat though.
The Liver building really is an impressive sight. Another good one Les
Les Auld: Thanks Bill, they do so dominate the waterfront here, a great building.
lovely image Les, like the cold feel to it.
Les Auld: Thanks Tim, appreciate the comment.
