I must admit that steam trains are one of my favourite subjects, and even better when the picture can appear to be from the time that they ran on Britsh tracks for real.
This is BR Class 4MT, 76079 shutting steam off as it approaches Ramsbottom station with a train from Rawtenstall on the East Lancashire Railway. The locomotive was built in 1957 and only served a few years before it was withdrawn from use. It entered preservation in 1974 and has spent a lot of it's time on the ELR with forays out onto the mainline as well.
