Bridge over the River Ribble

About thirty miles further north of yesterdays bridge, just outside the old Roman town of Ribchester is this bridge across the River Ribble. It was a fine sunny day last week when I took this and the river was running quite slow.

I LOVE the rich reflections in the water, Les. This bridge looks very Roman!
Les Auld: I think it is one from the late middle ages, thanks for the comment Ginnie.

Very well done, great composition !
Les Auld: Thanks Zeb.
Nice, simple shot - very old time country feel to it, when life was slower.
Les Auld: Thanks Jewlya, had to wait for time to slow down as there were quite a few cars on the road across the bridge.
