Skimming the water with pride! Very cool, Les.
Les Auld: The race on the Mersey is very difficult because of the tidal conditions so they did work hard to achieve it. Thanks for the comment Ginnie.

Ah. Nice action shot Les. I shot powerboats in Bristol docks for a few years, but I haven't seen them since about 1990. What a thrilling sport it is.
Les Auld: It was pretty good around the ocrners and the chicane but a bit processional on the straights. A challenge to photograph though. Thanks for the comment Steve.

What a lovely capture of the victorssmile
Les Auld: Thanks Tracy, appreciate the comment.
great capture Les. Bet you were pleased the winners had red helmets!
Les Auld: Thanks Bill, never noticed the red of the helmets until I started work on them. It was not so obvious on the river.
Excellent action shot. When you are not being the King of Sunsets you are the Prince of Action! All the best, Dave.
Les Auld: Thanks dave, although these days I feel like the Master of Inaction.
Crikey, that's sharp!! Well done Les
Les Auld: Maybe I overdid the sharpening, thanks for the comment David.
Ah, crackin shot Les, Nice One. The way these things bounce...
Les Auld: The river was quite choppy so they did bounce a bit, thanks for the comment Dave.
