Very dynamic! Why are there two people in the boat? Surely it needs only one driver.
Les Auld: I suppose someone has to tell the driver just when to turn, thanks for the comment Martin.

Wow. This is fabulous with the new template, Les!
Les Auld: Thanks Ginnie, I agree the new template works well with this sort of picture.
Fantastic action shot! Really dynamic. (:o)
Les Auld: Thanks Rosalyn, there was plenty of action that day, difficult to photograph though.

Les Auld: Thanks Louis, looking forwad to this years meet in October.
Impressive ! Bravo !
Les Auld: Thanks Zeb, glad you liked it.
Excellent action shot, Les. All the best, Dave.
Les Auld: good subject to take action shots of, looking forward to the next round in October for some more, thanks Dave.
Action shots can be challenging and you did a really nice job with this. I like that the water is crisp and clear along with the boats.
Les Auld: Thanks Jewlya, appreciate the comment, looking forward to trying to get some better ones in October at the next round in Liverpool.
I'll be racing against these guys in Liverpool next weekend in our shiny yellow scream-it.com race boat. What's great about this shot for me as a driver is it reminds me of the mess one gets into when behind two boats and how difficult it is to control the boat and see where you are going as the wash hits. Corners are tough. The navigator, by the way, tries to help you avoid hitting another boat!
Les Auld: Thanks Richard, appreciate the comment and the information. I can't imagine what it is like to be in the boat during the race. I am told that the Mersey is a difficult race because of the tidal conditions.

Look forward to seeing you race next week, perhaps take a few photographs as well.

Like the web site by the way.
