Just some cranes at twilight

Birkenhead docks with the sun over the horizon on a relatively clear evening. I think these are the biggest cranes inthe docks, could be wrong though.

I really am going to have to force myself of the settee and get out in the evening if you get light like this. Excellent tranquil tones in this Les.
Les Auld: Birkenhead can be quite pleasent in a strange sort of way. Thanks Max.

Crtacking light Les. I thought this was mono when I first looked at it. The subtle residual colour is super. Where you on the ferry to get this shot? I like your framing.
Les Auld: Appreciate the comment Alistair, these cranes on on the inner float of Birkenhead docks and it was taken from the dockside by the Duke Street bridge one evening.
This is fabulous. I like it a lot, infact it's in my likeys. All the best, Dave.
Les Auld: Thanks David, pleased that you like it.
Reminds me of a great movie that starred Brian Cox called "The lost language of cranes". Lovely shot.
Les Auld: I don't know the movie but they do have a life of their own, thanks for the comemnt.
